US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would do “whatever I want him to do” regarding Iran.
Responding to questions from reporters about what he had told Netanyahu concerning Iran and a possible pause on potential strikes, Trump said, “He’s fine, he’ll do whatever I want him to do,” reports CBS news.
“He’s a very- very good man. He’ll do whatever I want him to do. And he’s a great guy,” he added.
Trump also said he was “in no hurry” to reach any agreement aimed at ending the ongoing conflict. “You know, everybody’s saying, ‘Oh, the midterms, I’m in a hurry.’ I’m in no hurry,” he said.
“I just- ideally I’d like to see few people killed as opposed to a lot. We could do it either way, but I’d like to see few people killed.”
