Electric scooters move beyond early adopters
Bangladesh’s electric scooter market is increasingly moving beyond affordability alone. Manufacturers are now competing across multiple segments, offering buyers more choices in terms of range, speed, comfort and technology.
While lower operating costs remain the biggest attraction, the sector’s longer-term growth will depend on charging infrastructure, battery reliability, resale value and after-sales support.
As these issues improve, electric scooters are expected to become a more prominent part of Bangladesh’s urban transport landscape.
