TIMES of Bangladesh marked its anniversary on Monday with a renewed commitment to objective, analytical and nation-focused journalism.
Publisher Md Mashud Razzaq expressed gratitude to guests attending the anniversary programme at Dhaka Club in the capital on Monday night.
Recalling the newspaper’s relaunch on 1 September 2025, Razzaq said the publication resumed its journey at a significant moment of historic transformation in Bangladesh.
He said the decision to reorganise and revive the newspaper at such a critical juncture was driven by a sense of responsibility towards the country, its people and future generations.
“TIMES of Bangladesh is not only a newspaper; it is a dream-a dream with the feelings of your nation first. With this vision, TIMES embarked on its journey,” he said, outlining the publication’s guiding principle.
Mashud Razzaq said the newspaper aims to go beyond conventional news reporting by examining issues through analysis, research and investigation while identifying emerging trends and drawing lessons from the past.
Reaffirming the newspaper’s commitment to maintaining its distinct identity, Mashud Razzaq pledged to uphold high standards of quality journalism in every edition.
The publisher also sought continued public trust, support and goodwill as the newspaper moves forward.
The programme concluded with the screening of a special video highlighting the journey of TIMES of Bangladesh.
