Actress Tanjin Tisha has once again found herself at the centre of controversy, as fellow performer Samia Othoi has levelled serious allegations against her.
Speaking during a Facebook Live session today, Othoi claimed that she was physically assaulted by Tisha while filming a new drama in Manikganj. According to Athoi, the incident began on Monday during the first day of shooting.
Othoi alleged that she had brought a cake from Dhaka for Tisha, who declined to accept it. She further claimed that during a scene, Tisha injured her with a fork, causing her to bleed. Despite the incident, Othoi said she initially chose not to escalate the matter and continued filming.
She stated that actors including Shahiduzzaman Selim and director Rinku witnessed the exchange from the monitor area and questioned her about what had happened.
Othoi also alleged there had been prior tension involving actor Mushfiq Al and actor Farhan, claiming that Tisha had previously discouraged several actresses from working with Farhan, further alleging that during the final shot today, Tisha slapped her in front of the crew.
Attempts to contact Tanjin Tisha for comment were unsuccessful at the time of publication.
