The new season of the BPL is getting ready. Work started a long time ago. Now the teams are taking shape.
Sylhet have chosen the name Sylhet Titans. The franchise has already made some early moves. They have signed a few players. They have also brought in new staff for the dressing room. Sohel Islam will guide the team as head coach. Imrul Kayes will handle the batting group. Syed Rasel will look after pace bowling. Kimslay Rob will work as the fielding coach.
Sylhet have also picked two local stars. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nasum Ahmed are already on the list. Miraz will lead the side.
The BPL Governing Council completed the ownership process last week. The meeting took place at Navana Tower in Gulshan.
Bashundhara Group’s Toggi Sports will run Rangpur Riders. Triangale Service will run the Chattogram team. Nabil Group got Rajshahi. Cricket With Samie will operate the Sylhet franchise. Champion Sports, under Remark-Harlland, will run the Dhaka team.
