Bangladesh University’s (BU) Department of Business Administration organised an orientation and farewell ceremony for BBA and MBA students, featuring a career guidance session by Star Cineplex Head of HR and Administration Laila Naznin.
The event, held at the university auditorium on Monday, welcomed freshers of the 73rd and 74th BBA batches and 70th and 71st MBA batches while honouring graduating students.
Naznin conducted a session titled “Your Career, Your Future: The Road to Professional Success” at the event organised in collaboration with the Bangladesh University Business Club. She urged students to develop professional skills, a growth mindset and conscious career decisions beyond academic qualifications, emphasising continuous learning, leadership and communication skills.
The event familiarised incoming students with university life while celebrating the achievements of departing students. Faculty members, students and distinguished guests attended. Following the discussions, students performed a cultural programme, said a press release.
