Southeast Bank has partnered with Mastercard, CCI Bangladesh and SSL Commerz to launch a co-branded SME credit card for CCI’s 200 distributors across urban and rural markets, offering up to 45 days of interest-free credit and secure digital payments.
The card aims to strengthen CCI Bangladesh’s distribution network with easier access to working capital, helping distributors manage cash flow more effectively and grow their businesses, said a press release on Sunday.
The purpose-built credit solution supports inventory purchases and operational expenses through a structured credit framework, enabling distributors to maintain seamless day-to-day operations while accelerating digital payment adoption.
Southeast Bank Deputy Managing Director Sekander-E-Azam said the bank is committed to delivering financial solutions that address the evolving needs of businesses. “The introduction of this co-branded SME credit card will provide CCI Bangladesh’s distributors with greater financial flexibility and efficient access to working capital,” he said.
Mastercard Bangladesh Country Manager Zakia Sultana said distributors are a vital engine of Bangladesh’s economy. “Through this collaboration, Mastercard is supporting the digital transformation of the country’s distribution ecosystem with secure payment and credit solutions that enable greater flexibility, resilience and sustainable growth,” she said.
CCI Bangladesh Managing Director Shadab Ahmed Khan said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to supporting its distributor network with solutions that strengthen business efficiency and enable long-term growth.
