Sonali Bank PLC has signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) to facilitate the collection of postpaid bills and miscellaneous charges-fees from BPDB customers through the Sonali Payment Gateway.
The signing ceremony was held at the BPDB conference room on Wednesday. Aklima Islam, general manager of Sonali Bank PLC, and Mriganka Mohan Paul, senior system analyst of BPDB, signed and exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Among others, Md Ruhul Kabir, controller of BPDB; Md Nurul Absar, general manager; Mohammad Aslam Hossain, deputy general manager of Sonali Bank; and related officials from both organisations were present on the occasion.
