Bangladesh women’s cricketers Sobhana Mostary and Farzana Haque have improved their positions in the ICC Women’s ODI rankings following strong performances in the ongoing World Cup, while most of their teammates have slipped.

Opener Farzana Haque has climbed one spot to 46th among batters, and Sobhana Mostary has risen two places to 55th. Sharmin Akter Supta remains Bangladesh’s highest-ranked batter despite dropping one position to 30th, while captain Nigar Sultana Joty has fallen two spots to 36th.

India’s Smriti Mandhana continues to lead the batting rankings with a career-best 828 rating, followed by Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner, who has jumped six places to second. South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt has moved up two spots to third.

In the bowlers’ list, England’s Sophie Ecclestone remains number one, with Australia’s Alana King advancing five places to second. Bangladesh’s top bowler, Nahida Akter, holds 13th position, while Rabeya Khan drops one spot to 20th and Fahima Khatun sits 33rd.

Among all-rounders, both Rabeya and Fahima have slipped, with Fahima down one place to 31st and Rabeya down two to 33rd. Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner retains the top position in the all-rounders’ rankings.
