Popular singer Shithi Saha has returned with a vibrant romantic dance number, Bosonter Kokil, which has been drawing significant attention online since its release amid the excitement of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
Released under the banner of Anupam Music on June 25, the music video has crossed more than 132k views on YouTube as of this reporting, while also earning positive reactions across social media for its colourful visuals, festive mood and upbeat composition.
Penned by Ronok Raihan, Bosonter Kokil has been composed and arranged by Akassh Sen, the musician behind several recent chartbusters, including Dustu Kokil, Priyotoma and Maya Maya Lage. The song blends a catchy melody with celebratory rhythms, making it a lively addition to this year’s musical releases.
Expressing her delight over the audience response, Shithi Saha said recording the song was an enjoyable experience.
“I had a wonderful time singing Bosonter Kokil. Its melody, lyrics and musical arrangement are full of life. The music video itself is visually refreshing, and the love it has received from viewers since its release has truly inspired me. I hope the song remains on listeners’ playlists for a long time,” she said.
The music video features actress Alongkar Chowdhury alongside Shifat Amin Shuvo. Directed, shot and edited by Chandan Roy Chowdhury, the video combines romance with a festive atmosphere, adding visual appeal to the energetic track.
