Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC won the top prize at the ICMAB Best Corporate Award 2024, recognising the bank’s performance across key indicators assessed from its annual report.
The award was presented in the private commercial bank Islamic operation category at a ceremony on Wednesday at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center in Dhaka, according to a press release.
Shahjalal Islami Bank Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Commerce Adviser SK Bashir Uddin, with Additional Managing Director Imtiaz U Ahmed and Chief Financial Officer Md Jafar Sadeq also present.
The event was attended by the secretary of the Internal Resources Division, chairman of the National Board of Revenue, Commerce secretary, president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh and chairman of the Corporate Award Committee.
