Students of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) have cleared Agargaon road and taken position in front of Public Works Complex.
They are protesting the government’s decision to relocate Secretariat to old Trade Fair ground.
Earlier on Wednesday, the demonstrators blockaded the street at China Friendship Signal after bringing out a procession from the university around 11am.
Consequently, traffic movement on the road leading from Bijoy Sarani to Agargaon came to a halt.
In addition, the protesters announced plans to burn an effigy in front of Public Works Complex.
