Samsung Bangladesh has unveiled the RF59, the country’s first-ever French Door refrigerator with AI capabilities, marking a new standard in smart home appliances.
The launch event, held on 6 April 2026 at RANGS eMART in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, was attended by Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Head of Business, Consumer Electronics at Samsung Bangladesh, and key officials from Rangs Industries Limited, including Sardar Md Khaled bin Hasan, Executive Director.
The RF59 features a flat-door Bespoke finish that fits seamlessly into modern kitchens. It comes equipped with AI Energy Mode, which adjusts power consumption based on usage patterns, significantly lowering electricity costs. Additionally, SmartThings connectivity allows users to control and monitor the refrigerator remotely via a smartphone app.
The RF59 also cools 39 minutes faster than other models, thanks to its Power Cool and Power Freeze functions. SpaceMax Technology provides a spacious 649-litre interior without increasing the refrigerator’s external size, making it ideal for standard kitchens.
Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Head of Business, Consumer Electronics at Samsung Bangladesh, said, “The RF59 introduces a globally trusted refrigerator format to Bangladesh, enhanced with intelligent technology for everyday living.”
Sardar Md Khaled Bin Hasan, Executive Director of Rangs Industries Limited, highlighted their commitment to offering innovative solutions and flexible purchasing options for customers.
The RF59 is now available for viewing at RANGS eMART showrooms across the country.
