Popular singer Moushumi Akter Salma has returned to the recording studio after a brief break, recording several new songs in quick succession.
Her latest track, ‘Kunje Ar Bhalo Lage Na Bondhu Bihone’, features lyrics and composition by her mentor Shafi Mondal, with Tanveer Alam Shawjeeb handling the music arrangement. Salma completed the recording at a Dhaka studio last week.
“I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to sing another song by my guru. Songs written and composed by him have always been popular with listeners. I hope everyone will like this song too” Salma said.
She said the song was produced for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations. Worldrong will soon begin shooting its music video.
Recalling her return to recording, Salma said, “After a brief break, I have returned to recording. I have lent my voice to four more songs this week.”
