Actress Sadia Jahan Prova has denied reports claiming that she secretly entered into a third marriage.
The actress addressed the rumours in a Facebook post on Tuesday night, calling the reports completely false. “I have not married, and I have never entered into any relationship. The allegations being circulated are baseless,” Prova wrote.
Expressing her frustration over the reports, Prova requested that journalists speak directly to the person concerned before reporting such claims.
Back on 23 August, TIMES of Bangladesh published a report titled, “Prova’s Bangkok mystery: A hidden wedding story?” TIMES contacted Prova by phone and text seeking confirmation and comment, but she did not initially respond.
Later, she spoke to TIMES and denied the allegations of her getting married, dismissing the notion as just rumours.
Prova has travelled frequently, including extended stays in the United States. In April, she shared a photograph showing a ring on her ring finger, strengthening talk that she may have been engaged.
She later posted another photograph featuring what appeared to be a diamond ring on her ring finger alongside a flower bouquet, further fuelling interest in her relationship status.
In January, Prova addressed questions about marriage and divorce during a Facebook Live session, objecting to the intrusion into her private life and stressing that marriage is personal. She reportedly said whatever is meant for her will happen when the time comes.
Addressing her fans, Prova said she would share accurate information about her career, personal life or any other matter through her Facebook page. She concluded by thanking her fans for their love and support, describing it as a source of strength, and wished everyone well.
Sadia Jahan Prova began her career as a model in 2005 before gaining recognition through television dramas.
She has since expanded her work into films and continues to appear in television productions.
She recently completed shooting for a film, although some work on the project remains. She is expected to return to the set soon.
