Remark HB Limited has named Shyamal Kumar Das, owner of Shyamal Store in Satkhira, as the first lakhpati winner under its “Double Lakhpati” campaign, a nationwide retailer incentive programme aimed at strengthening sales participation across its distribution network. He received a cash prize of Tk1 lakh at the company’s corporate office in Gulshan, Dhaka on Monday.
The campaign, launched on 3 June 2026 and running until 31 August 2026, allows registered retailers across Bangladesh to participate by purchasing at least Tk2,000 worth of Remark products. It offers cash rewards of up to Tk2 lakh per cycle, along with cashback incentives and gifts including refrigerators and televisions.
Remark said the programme is fully digital and computerised, with automated selection of winners to ensure transparency in the reward process. The initiative is being implemented under its “Apnajan-01” platform and is open to retailers nationwide.
Brand ambassador and actor Shabnam Faria handed over the prize at the event. She said such initiatives support small and medium retailers by creating structured opportunities for business growth and participation in brand-driven sales programmes.
Remark National Sales Director Kamal Hossain said retailers are central to the company’s growth strategy, adding that the campaign is designed to recognise their contribution while expanding market reach across urban and rural areas.
Regional Sales Director G M Abul Bashar said the programme has received strong response from districts including Satkhira, reflecting growing engagement from retailers outside major commercial centres.
Remark said the campaign is intended to strengthen retailer engagement and support sales growth across its skincare, home care and cosmetics portfolio. It added that participation has already expanded across the country since the launch of the initiative.
