New-generation actors Abid Bin Parvez Pranto and Rubaiya Esha have teamed up for director Imraul Rafat’s upcoming serial drama Roll Number.
Both actors have been gaining attention for their dedication and performances.
Esha, who recently entered the acting scene, has already appeared in several dramas, while Pranto has also made a mark with his performances.
Written and directed by Imraul Rafat, with co-writing by Abro Mahmud, Roll Number has completed filming for its first schedule.
The drama is expected to premiere soon.
Speaking about the project, Pranto said the story draws heavily on the experiences of college life and is filled with nostalgia.
“The story is based on college-life experiences and is full of nostalgia. I believe viewers will really enjoy the scenes. If the drama receives a positive response, I hope Esha and I can continue working together in the future,” he said.
Praising Rafat, Pranto added, “Imraul Rafat is a very talented writer and director. It is a privilege to work under his direction, and I am sincerely grateful to him. Esha is also new to the industry, and I really appreciate her dedication to the work. We have both tried our best to portray our characters convincingly.”
Esha said Roll Number is being produced as a serial drama and that work on its first schedule has already been completed.
“We have finished the first schedule, and the next phase of shooting will begin soon. I have previously worked in Rafat’s dramas and received a good response. I hope this serial will also be well received by the audience,” she said.
Meanwhile, Pranto is currently appearing in the serial drama Rokter Bondhon, directed by Megh Him, which has started streaming on YouTube. He plays one of the key characters in the series.
Esha, meanwhile, has been receiving positive feedback for her performance in Ojantay, co-starring Naovi and directed by Imraul Rafat.
She is also appearing in Ghore Baire, directed by Musafir Roni, which airs on NTV from Sunday to Tuesday at 8:20pm.
