The Peninsula Chittagong has introduced a post-Eid Bengali snacks and tea experience titled ‘Adda & Nostalgia’, bringing back traditional gathering culture at its Ozone Lounge, according to a press release.
The event was inaugurated on Thursday, featuring The Peninsula Chittagong Director Mustafa Tahseen Arshad as the chief guest alongside The Peninsula Chittagong Director Sabedur Rahman and Operation Manager Anowar Pasha, with department heads also present.
The initiative focuses on recreating the Bengali tradition of adda through a buffet of snacks, chaat and sweets paired with Ispahani Tea, offered at Tk1,999 net, the release said.
The venue has been designed with vintage elements and traditional décor to reflect old Bengali settings and evoke nostalgia among guests.
Organisers said the experience aims to create a relaxed environment for families and friends to reconnect after Eid, supported by old Bengali acoustic music.
The programme will continue every Friday and Saturday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the hotel.
