At least 1,929 people have been evacuated to hospitals across Israel since the commencement of Iranian retaliatory strikes, according to the Israeli Ministry of Health.

The ministry reported that 157 of these evacuations occurred within the last 24 hours. These strikes were launched by Iran in response to joint aerial attacks on Tehran carried out by the United States and Israel, reports Al Jazeera.

Providing a breakdown of the casualties, health officials stated that nine individuals remain in serious condition. Additionally, 42 people are in moderate condition, while 70 others have sustained minor injuries.

The Ministry of Health further noted that a significant number of those admitted to hospitals sustained their injuries while rushing to protected areas.
