Producer Abdul Aziz has clarified that artificial intelligence is not being used to create any character or replicate any performance in the upcoming film ‘Masud Rana’, stressing that the technology is only being used to enhance visual backgrounds alongside real footage.
Speaking about the production, the chairman of Jaaz Multimedia said, “We have not made any artist perform using AI. I am using AI and VFX to make the visuals larger and more beautiful. AI is working as a background support. There is a combination of real VFX and AI.”
He added that the action sequences rely heavily on real shooting, with digital tools used to enhance scale and presentation. “These are real scenes like walking on the street or moving around. Without AI and VFX, these action scenes would look very weak. In real life, you cannot turn a glass into a flower. That becomes magic. The breaking of the glass has a symbolic meaning.”
Aziz further addressed concerns regarding the lead character, played by Russell Rana, confirming that no AI-generated acting was involved. “All of Russell Rana’s shots are real. They have not been created using AI. Jumping from rooftops and walking on roads are all real shots. AI and VFX have been used in some scenes, but only to enhance the background,” he said.
He reiterated that the core performances remain untouched and digital tools are used strictly for visual enhancement rather than character creation.
