Jamuna Bank PLC customers can now settle loan and deposit pension scheme (DPS) installments through Nagad’s digital platform. The service, announced at a signing event at Jamuna Bank’s Corporate Office, enables instant fund transfers from any Nagad account to any Jamuna Bank account.
The agreement was formalized by Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC, and Md Motasim Billah, Administrator of Nagad said in a press release. Senior officials from both organizations attended the launch.
Nagad Administrator Md Motasim Billah stated the initiative aims to ensure faster and improved customer service for the bank’s clients. The integration is designed to provide a streamlined channel for routine financial obligations.
The partnership links one of the country’s leading commercial banks with an expanding mobile financial service, aiming to enhance transactional convenience for shared customers.
