Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Faiyaz Ahmed Bobby and noted dancer Munmun Ahmed, along with several other artistes, are expected to join the cast during the next phase of filming.

Speaking about the project, Sony Rahman said the film presents a role unlike anything he has previously taken on.

“Throughout my acting career, I have worked in several television dramas and a few films, but I have never worked on a story like this before. In fact, I am not aware of whether a film centred on the lives of the Santal community has been made in this way before. Since the story is rooted in real life, the role is challenging for me,” he said.

National Film Award-winning cinematographer Asaduzzaman Majnu is serving as the film’s director of photography.

Delwar Hossain Chunnu is directing the action sequences, while Shawkat Ali Emon is overseeing the music.
