Mitsubishi Motors Bangladesh has unveiled the all-new Mitsubishi Destinator at the Dhaka Motor Show 2026 on Friday, targeting the country’s expanding sport utility vehicle (SUV) market.
Officials said the Destinator enters the local market as a premium SUV combining performance, comfort, advanced technology, and reliability.
The model is expected to strengthen Mitsubishi’s position in Bangladesh’s growing SUV segment.

Rangs Limited, the authorised distributor of Mitsubishi Motors in Bangladesh, said the Destinator offers the right balance of performance, practicality, and premium comfort for Bangladeshi consumers.
Its CEO Muidur Rahman Tanvir said the vehicle offers the right balance of performance, practicality, and premium comfort for local consumers.
“With its efficient 1.5-litre engine and competitive tax advantage, we believe this SUV will make premium ownership more accessible for customers,” he said.
Rangs Limited Head of Marketing Fahim Hossain said the vehicle was designed around the concept of comfort for all, focusing on convenience and comfort for families.
“From its spacious cabin to advanced features such as the Yamaha-tuned audio system and efficient cooling technology, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to make every journey enjoyable,” he said.
The Destinator is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged MIVEC engine producing 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission.
Its 1,499cc engine capacity places it in a favourable tax bracket in Bangladesh.
Inside, the SUV offers a spacious 7-seater cabin with a two-tone black and maroon interior, synthetic leather seats with heat guard technology, and a panoramic sunroof.
The vehicle also features a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a Yamaha premium 8-speaker audio system.
Safety features include six airbags, Active Yaw Control, Forward Collision Mitigation, and a monocoque body structure designed for enhanced durability and protection.
Other highlights include ceiling-mounted AC vents for rear passengers, Nanoe X air purification, Dynamic Shield front styling, T-shaped LED lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Rangs Limited said the launch reflects its continued commitment to bringing world-class vehicles and premium after-sales service to customers across Bangladesh.
