The 74th edition of Miss Universe is set to take place in Thailand on November 21, with contestants from 130 countries vying for one of the world’s most prestigious beauty titles.
Representing Bangladesh this year is Tangia Zaman Methila, who carries the hopes of millions as she steps onto the global stage with her impressive pageant resume. A win would make her the first Bangladeshi woman to bring home the Miss Universe crown.
Methila has previously held titles including Miss Supranational 2019, Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 and has once again earned the opportunity to represent Bangladesh at the 2025 Miss Universe competition in Thailand.
According to the Miss Universe Organisation, the grand finale will be held at the Impact Challenger Hall, Pak Kret, Nonthaburi on November 21, beginning at 7:00 am BST. The full show will be streamed live on the official Miss Universe YouTube channel.
The current Miss Universe, Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark, who won the title in 2024, will crown her successor during Friday’s ceremony. This year’s pageant embraces the theme ‘The Power of Love’, highlighting unity, compassion and inclusivity.
If Methila clinches the crown on November 21, she will become the first Bangladeshi woman in history to win Miss Universe.
Supporters can vote for Methila through the official Miss Universe app.
