The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep local cautionary signal No. 3 hoisted as a well‑marked low has weakened and now lies over southeast Jharkhand and adjoining areas.

In the east and southeast, the Matamuhuri rose in the last 24 hours, while the Gomti, Muhuri, Selonia, Feni, Halda and Sangu fell. The water level of these rivers may rise again over the next three days.
