Bangladeshi composer and music producer Menon Khan, now based in the United Kingdom, has reunited with vocalist Sahil Sanjan for their latest original song, Mon Akash.
The project reflects a cross-border collaboration, bringing together creative professionals from Bangladesh and the UK while continuing Menon Khan’s journey as a composer, producer and arranger.
Menon Khan began his music career in Bangladesh as a composer, arranger and producer. He collaborated with established artistes and contributed to original music projects across digital platforms.
In 2022, he moved to the United Kingdom to study Sound Production. Alongside his professional commitments there, he has continued composing and producing original music while working with several UK-based music companies.

Menon Khan and Sahil Sanjan first began collaborating several years ago through their shared passion for original Bangla music. Their latest release, Mon Akash, combines Menon Khan’s composition and music production with Sahil Sanjan’s vocals. The contemporary Bangla song explores themes of emotion, hope and personal reflection.
Speaking about the release, Menon Khan said, “Music has always been my strongest form of expression. Mon Akash represents emotion, hope and personal growth. Reuniting with Sahil for this release made the project even more meaningful because we have shared a creative understanding for many years.”
Sahil Sanjan said, “Working with Menon has always been a rewarding experience. We understand each other’s creative vision, and Mon Akash reflects our continued passion for creating original Bangla music that connects emotionally with listeners.”
The production also highlights an international creative process involving contributors from both Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. Sahil Sanjan performed the vocals, while UK-based Bangladeshi composer Menon Khan composed and produced the track.

Adib Al Mohsin wrote the lyrics, and UK-based audio engineer Arafat Kirty handled the mixing and mastering.
Menon Khan continues to expand his career through original compositions, collaborations with artistes in Bangladesh and the United Kingdom, and professional music production projects. Mon Akash marks another step in his commitment to creating original music while strengthening creative ties between Bangladesh and the UK.
