KHAR will stage its next major mixed martial arts event, KHARNIVAL, in Dhaka on Friday, 19 December, as the promotion continues its push to establish professional MMA as a mainstream sport in Bangladesh.
The event will take place from 5.00 pm to 11.00 pm at the Australian International School in Dhaka and is expected to attract a large crowd of fight fans and first-time spectators.
KHAR has emerged as one of the leading forces in Bangladesh’s developing MMA scene, placing emphasis on athlete development, structured matchmaking and high-quality event production. Since its launch, the promotion has sought to present combat sports not only as competition but as a broader cultural experience rooted in discipline, athleticism and community.
KHARNIVAL is set to expand that concept by blending high-intensity cage fights with a festival-style atmosphere. In addition to a full fight card, the programme will feature live music, food stalls, merchandise outlets and interactive fan activities, aiming to create an inclusive environment that appeals beyond traditional combat sports audiences.
Organisers say the event is designed to showcase elite local fighters while introducing a wider audience to the sport in an accessible and engaging setting.
Tickets for KHARNIVAL are available online, with demand expected to be strong given the growing interest in MMA across the country.
KHAR, a Bangladesh-based MMA promotion, focuses on developing domestic talent and building a sustainable combat sports ecosystem through regular professional events. The organisation has positioned KHARNIVAL as another step in its long-term mission to elevate MMA standards and culture in Bangladesh.
