Inqilab Mancha has demanded that justice for the killing of Inqilab Mancha spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi be ensured before the national parliamentary election.
The demand was made at a press conference held in front of the National Museum at Shahbagh in the capital around 12pm on Monday.
Addressing the press conference, Inqilab Mancha Member Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber said, “It will not be acceptable to hurriedly hold an election and move on without revealing who killed Hadi. Justice must be ensured before the election. There will be no election before that.”
Alleging negligence of duty by the home and law advisers, Jaber further said that Inqilab Mancha will remain on the streets full-time from now on. He warned that no one will leave the streets until the killers are arrested.
Addressing Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus, Jaber said, “You have said that you carry Sharif Osman Hadi in your heart. But not once, even at the funeral, did you say what you would do to ensure justice for this murder? Such a major killing has taken place, yet we have not heard from you what steps you will take to ensure justice.”
“We have seen your helplessness, and we want to know why. We want to know who made you helpless,” he added.
