Janata Bank convened a coordination meeting with its panel of lawyers at the head office on Monday to take measures for the rapid resolution of ongoing loan cases in Finance and Loan Courts, the bank said in a press release. The session, organised by the Legal Department, was attended by Chairman Muh Fazlur Rahman CSP as the chief guest and presided over by Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman.
Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman, panel lawyers, and senior management from the head office and the Dhaka North and South divisional offices participated. Area heads, departmental deputy general managers, and executive staff from the Legal Department were also present.
The meeting reviewed the current status and challenges of cases filed against classified loans across branches. Janata Bank said important directives were issued to address issues and ensure timely resolution of the cases.
