The Gaza Freedom Flotilla has reported that the Israeli military attacked its convoy of boats and intercepted several vessels as they made their way towards Gaza.
According to the flotilla, the military first targeted The Conscience – a boat carrying 93 journalists, doctors, and activists – before proceeding to attack and intercept three smaller boats.
Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the raid on X, stating, “Another futile attempt to breach the legal naval blockade and enter a combat zone has ended in nothing.”
The ministry added, “The vessels and passengers have been transferred to an Israeli port. All passengers are safe and in good health, and they are expected to be deported promptly.”
