The Voting Academy includes journalists, former players, broadcasters, and ICC Hall of Fame members. Their votes make up 90 per cent of the total. Fans vote on the ICC website and contribute the remaining 10 per cent.

The ICC announces the winners in the second week of every month on its digital platforms.
