Grameenphone, Teletalk, and EDOTCO Bangladesh have signed a landmark infrastructure sharing agreement aimed at strengthening the digital ecosystem in Bangladesh.
Under this collaboration, EDOTCO will provide infrastructure support to both Grameenphone and Teletalk, facilitating network expansion across the country.
By utilizing shared tower infrastructure, the agreement will enhance operational efficiency, accelerate network deployment, and improve service accessibility for millions of users.
The agreement was signed by Grameenphone Chief Executive Officer Yasir Azman, Teletalk Managing Director Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, and EDOTCO Bangladesh Country Managing Director Sunil Isaac.
Yasir Azman, Chief Executive Officer Grameenphone, stated, “Customers are at the heart of everything we do at Grameenphone, and this collaboration will help us strengthen our network coverage and improve service quality across Bangladesh.”
Nurul Mabud Chowdhury, Managing Director Teletalk, remarked, “As a state-owned operator, this collaboration strengthens our ability to expand efficiently and provide better service experiences to our subscribers.”
Sunil Isaac, Country Managing Director EDOTCO Bangladesh, commented, “This tower sharing agreement optimizes telecom resources and reduces the financial burden of individual network expansion, helping to improve service quality and accelerate network coverage.”
This partnership reinforces a shared vision to create a digitally inclusive Bangladesh with improved connectivity and enhanced digital services for more people, Grameenphone said in a press release on Sunday.
