The government has pardoned the sentences of four prisoners and ordered their release on the occasion of Eid‑ul‑Adha.
They will be freed shortly.
The prisoners are Naeem Shikdar, of Faridpur District Jail; Md Islam Sheikh, of Khulna District Jail; Palash Barua, Rangamati District Jail; and Abdul Malek, of Chuadanga District Jail.
