The government has issued a gazette allocating portfolios to four new ministers and two state ministers and reshuffling the portfolio of another minister.
The Cabinet Division released the notification Friday night, signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani.
According to the gazette, issued under Rule 3(4) of the Rules of Business, 1996, the prime minister made the allocations.
BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan has been assigned the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co‑operatives; Rashiduzzaman Millat, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism; Bandarban lawmaker Saching Prue, the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs; and Andaleeve Rahman Partho, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Afroza Khanam Rita, who was previously in charge of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been given the portfolio of the Ministry of Food.
Among the state ministers, Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humaiun Kobir has been given charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Gaibandha‑4 lawmaker Mohammad Shamim Kaiser has been assigned the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The gazette said all other matters contained in notifications issued on 17 February, 4 March, 12 March and 25 March remain unchanged. The order takes immediate effect.
