Fuel passes mandatory for motorcycles at 11 Dhaka filling stations

The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has made fuel passes mandatory for motorcycles seeking to refuel at 11 designated filling stations in the capital. This decision is scheduled to come into effect from Tuesday.

The ministry announced the move via a post on its official Facebook page on the afternoon of Monday.

The 11 filling stations included under this mandatory requirement are: Karim and Sons (Shapla Chattar); Eureka Enterprise (Mohakhali); Masud Hasan Filling Station (Airport, Uttara); Messrs Satata and Company (439, Tejgaon Industrial Area); Messrs Diganta Filling Station (Section-14, Ibrahimpur, Mirpur); Messrs Kamal Trading Agency (80, Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Sarani, Tejgaon); Messrs SP Filling Station Limited (Gabtoli, Mirpur); City Filling Station (Tejgaon-Meghna Petroleum Limited); Seba Green Filling Station (Uttara-Meghna Petroleum Limited); Sam Associates (Mirpur-02-Meghna Petroleum Limited); and Sumatra Filling Station (Kalshi Road, Mirpur).

In addition to the refuelling update, the ministry stated that the ‘D’ series for private car registration has now been opened. This follows the opening of the ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’ series for registration on Sunday.
