Muhommad Badiuzzaman Dider, administrator of First Security Islami Bank PLC (FSIB) and executive director of Bangladesh Bank, held a client meeting at the commercial lender’s Mohakhali branch on Tuesday.
He organised the meeting to address concerns at FSIB through customer engagement.
The meeting was attended by several key officials, including Muhammad Ansarul Kabir, associate administrator at FSIB and additional director of Bangladesh Bank.
Mohammed Masud Parvez, senior executive vice president and CAMLCO of FSIB, KM Khalid Taimur Rana, manager of Mohakhali branch, and other officials were also present.
During the session, Dider directly addressed clients’ questions, reassuring them that their deposits were fully secure under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank.
He encouraged customers to remain calm and avoid unnecessary panic withdrawals, emphasising that their banking activities would continue as usual.
Clients took the opportunity to express their long-standing relationship with FSIB, commending the professionalism and satisfaction experienced over the years.
Many expressed their strong desire to continue conducting business with FSIB, looking forward to maintaining their banking ties with the institution in the future.
