The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has instructed heads of MPO-listed private educational institutions to submit festival allowance bills for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 by 4 March.
The allowance will be directly transferred to teachers’ and staff bank accounts through Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
In a notification issued on Monday, Abdul Hannan, Director General (Additional Charge) of DSHE, directed principals and head teachers to log in to the ‘MPOEFT’ module of the EMIS system using their official ID and password to submit the bills. They must determine and enter the payable amount for each eligible teacher and employee in line with the relevant regulations.
The directorate emphasised that the information submitted by the head of the institution will be treated as final.
In cases where teachers or staff have passed away, resigned, are temporarily suspended, or absent, the details must be clearly noted and eligibility assessed accordingly.
DSHE warned that any complications arising from incorrect information or overpayment will be the responsibility of the institution’s head. At present, only personnel whose records have been verified through the iBas++ system are eligible for bill submission. Those with incomplete or incorrect data will be included after verification.
All schools and colleges nationwide have been urged to complete the submission process within the stipulated deadline to ensure timely disbursement of festival allowances.
