Fakir Technologies Limited has launched ZERO, Bangladesh’s first multiscale Battery Energy Storage System, taking a major step toward a smarter and greener energy future, according to a press release.
The concern of Fakir Fashion deploys three scalable solutions under the ZERO brand to ensure uninterrupted and cost-effective electricity for industries, commercial spaces and households.
ZERO integrates solar and grid power to cut reliance on diesel generators while lowering carbon emissions, noise and maintenance costs.
ZERO Max, ranging from 1 to 10 MW, is targeted at large-scale industries, government institutions, IT data centres and hospitals.
ZERO Mid, ranging from 100 to 800 KW, is designed for small to medium factories, offices and commercial buildings seeking affordable and modern energy resilience.
ZERO Nano, ranging from 5 to 60 KW, is tailored for homes and small offices to ensure continuous power backup throughout the year.
The company has installed a 1 MW ZERO BESS at Fakir Fashion, setting a new benchmark in manufacturing energy efficiency.
“Our new addition ZERO not only demonstrates the capability of BESS but also sets a new benchmark for ensuring power reliability in the industrial sector,” said Fakir Technologies managing director Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid at the programme.
He said the system can reduce up to 661 tons of carbon emissions per year and marks progress toward a greener and more sustainable future for Bangladesh.
The organisation has also set up a battery service centre with advanced maintenance and repair facilities to ensure post-sales support and long-term reliability.
Fakir Technologies said ZERO empowers Bangladesh to accelerate its shift toward renewable energy and long-term power resilience as the nation looks to reduce emissions and embrace sustainable transformation.
