Education Ministry has issued instructions to all educational institutions across the country to observe special programmes on August 5 to mark July Mass Uprising Day.
The Secondary and Higher Education Division of the ministry issued a formal letter in this regard on Monday. The directive has been sent to chairman of University Grants Commission (UGC) and director general of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.
According to the letter, all educational institutions are required to organise essay writing, recitation, and painting competitions to observe “July Mass Uprising Day 2026” with due solemnity, following the guidelines of Liberation War Affairs Ministry .
Additionally, institutions must host discussion meetings to highlight the importance and significance of the day.
Education Ministry has requested all relevant institutions to take the necessary measures to ensure the implementation of these instructions.
