Dhaka University authorities have decided to hold classes online for two days ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum.
According to a notice signed by acting registrar Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed on Sunday, all classes will be conducted online on 9 and 10 February to facilitate students.
The university will also observe a four-day holiday from 11 to 14 February in connection with the election and referendum, as announced earlier in a separate notice issued last Thursday.
The notice said classes and offices will remain closed on 11 and 12 February in line with the public holiday declared by executive order for the polls, while 13 and 14 February fall on the weekly holidays of Friday and Saturday, resulting in a continuous four-day break.
