The Dhaka University Alumni Association UK has formed its new Executive Committee for the 2026-2028 term, with Adhir Ranjan Das elected president, Mohammad Khaled Millat as general secretary, and ABM Ashabul Hossain as treasurer.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Executive Committee Formation Convening Committee held on 22 April, following the Annual General Meeting on 19 April.
The Convening Committee, constituted at the AGM, is led by Mosaddeque Hossain Biswash Dambel as convener. Nasrullah Khan Jonaid serves as co-convener, while newly elected General Secretary Mohammad Khaled Millat acted as Member Secretary of the formation body.
The committee also includes Sirajul Huq Chowdhury and Ashraf Zaman as members.
According to a statement from the association, the 22 April meeting reached a unanimous decision regarding the leadership for the upcoming two-year term.
The association expressed confidence in the newly elected body, stating, “We look forward to the Executive Committee’s dedicated leadership and service during the upcoming term.”
The DU Alumni Association UK is a registered organisation of University of Dhaka graduates residing in the United Kingdom.
