Dhaka Residential Model College has achieved commendable results in the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
A total of 651 male students sat for the exams this year, recording an outstanding pass rate of 99.69 per cent. Of them, 400 secured GPA‑5, giving the institution a GPA‑5 achievement rate of 61.44 per cent.
According to the college authorities, the success was driven by the proper guidance and capable leadership of the Board of Governors, along with the skilled direction of the principal.
To raise academic standards and discipline, the principal introduced several initiatives, including a Group Teacher system under which teachers regularly monitored students’ progress.
The college also arranged remedial classes for weaker students alongside regular lessons. Authorities said the initiative significantly contributed to the strong results.
The administration further credited the performance to the sincere efforts and advanced teaching methods of the academic staff, the active supervision of parents and guardians, and above all, the students’ dedication and determination to excel.
