Four hundred and thirty patients were admitted to hospitals while no dengue-related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the figures in a press release issued by its Health Emergency Operations Centre and Control Room on Wednesday.
According to the report, of the newly admitted patients, 120 are from Barishal Division (outside city corporation), 73 from Chattogram Division (outside cc), 67 from Dhaka Division (outside cc), 37 from Dhaka North City Corporation, 64 from Dhaka South City Corporation, 26 from outside Khulna Division, seven from outside Mymensingh Division, 31 from outside Rajshahi Division, and five from outside Rangpur Division.
During the same 24-hour period, 420 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals. So far this year, a total of 28,400 patients have recovered and been released after treatment.
