The schedule for the Chittagong University Central Students’ Union (CUCSU) election will be announced next Thursday. Chief Election Commissioner Professor Dr Monir Uddin confirmed the matter on Sunday.
He stated that the commission is nearing the completion of all preparations. The full voter list and electoral code of conduct will be published shortly.
Member Secretary Professor Dr. AKM Ariful Haque Siddiqui mentioned that even the most recently enrolled students will be included in the voter list.
Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Mohammad Kamal Uddin said, “This long-awaited election is being organised after 34 years. The voting date will be announced once the schedule is declared.”
