In the last 24 hours, one more person has died from Covid-19 in the country, while 25 new cases have been detected. The Health Services Division shared this information in a press release on Monday.
According to the release, 284 samples were tested during this period, with a positivity rate of 10.82%.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) stated that the deceased was an 80-year-old woman from Dhaka division. She was undergoing treatment at a government hospital.
With these latest figures, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 2,051,858. Since January of this year, five people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 29,504.
