A forensic team from the CID collected evidence at the scene.

The body showed multiple injuries, including a broken left knee and a fractured and cut right ankle. Investigators also found a packet of cigarettes in Molla’s clothing. One of the cigarettes reportedly contained cannabis.

Authorities are considering two possibilities. Molla either fell through the lift shaft or was killed by assailants.

Post-mortem doctors have also been asked to determine whether he had consumed drugs before his death.
