Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has entered into a strategic agreement with NEC Express Limited, a sister concern of NEC Money Transfer Limited, to improve its remittance services.
The partnership, signed recently at the Bank’s Head Office in Dhaka on Thursday, will allow Community Bank to facilitate the collection of wage earners’ remittances through NEC Express.
The signing ceremony was attended by Community Bank Managing Director (Current Charge) Kimiwa Saddat and Chairman of NEC Express Ikram Farazy, who joined the event online from abroad.
Senior officials from Community Bank, including CAMLCO & Chief Operating Officer Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Head of Corporate Banking and Head of Business (Branch) Dr Md Ariful Islam, Head of Trade & Remittance Mahmudul Aziz Mostazi, Head of Treasury (Current Charge) Adam Purification and Head of ADC and Head of MD’s Coordination Team Md Mamun Ur Rahman were also present at the event.
From NEC Express, Country Manager Md Osman Goni and Senior Executive Hafez Misbah Uddin were also present at the event.
