Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organised a three-day career-focused event aimed at strengthening connections between students and the corporate sector through recruitment activities, networking sessions and industry engagement programmes.
The “BUP Career and Education Fest 2026”, held on 17, 18 and 21 May, brought together leading organisations, industry experts, alumni and young professionals on one platform, the university said in a press release.
The festival featured company booths, seminars, networking sessions and recruitment activities designed to promote career development and professional engagement among students.
Interactive sessions and career-focused programmes were also arranged to provide students with insights into future career opportunities and discussions on improving professional skills.
Bangladesh University of Professionals Vice Chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam attended the closing ceremony as chief guest.
He stressed the importance of stronger collaboration between academia and industry to prepare students for the challenges of a rapidly changing professional environment.
Senior officials, faculty members, invited guests and students attended the event.
The university described the festival as one of the country’s largest university-level career-oriented events.
