The 9th Bangladesh BUILDCON 2025 and Bangladesh Wood International Expo 2025, along with Metal Industries Expo 2025, commenced on Thursday at Expo Village, International Convention City, Bashundhara.
According to the organisers, ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade & Events Pvt Ltd, Housing and Building Research Institute, Director General and Additional Chief Engineer Engr Mohammad Giasuddin Haider was the Chief Guest.
Giasuddin Haider said, “The construction and housing sector is a vital pillar of national development, accelerating industrial growth and economic progress.”
ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, Managing Director Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan called the expo a premier platform for networking and business opportunities.
“Stakeholders from construction, building materials, interior solutions, and woodworking can explore the latest innovations all under one roof,” he said.
The expo aims to address cost-efficiency and eco-friendly solutions in construction, as well as modernisation challenges within the furniture sector.
BEST CNC Router, presenting the 9th Bangladesh WOOD Expo 2025, focuses on bringing global technology to the wood sector.
The three-day event showcases a wide range of products, machinery, and materials from India, China, and Bangladesh, including construction machinery, power tools, CNC routers, and furniture supplies.
The expo is open to business visitors from 11am to 7pm, running through 27 September 2025.
