A delegation from BNP, led by the chairman of its Central Election Steering Committee, Nazrul Islam Khan, is currently holding a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin.
The meeting started around 12pm on Sunday at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital. The discussions are taking place ahead of the national election, which is scheduled to be held on 12 February.
Other members of BNP delegation attending the meeting include Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the member secretary of the BNP election steering committee, and Ismail Jabiullah, the committee’s chief coordinator.
Mohammad Zakaria, a member of the steering committee, is also part of the visiting team.
